In terms of rule 3.4(b) of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited, a listed company is required to publish a trading statement as soon as a reasonable degree of certainty exists that the financial results for the next reporting period to be reported on will differ by at least 20% from those of the previous corresponding period. Shareholders are advised that the earnings per share ("EPS") and headline earnings per share ("HEPS) for the half year ended 31 December 2010 are expected to fall within the following ranges: 2010 2009 % Change EPS (cents per share) 44-48 34.9 Up 26-38 HEPS (cents per share) 44-48 37.7 Up 17-27 HEPS has been calculated excluding non-recurring income and costs. The information on which this announcement has been based has not been reviewed or reported on by the group`s auditors. The unaudited interim results are expected to be released in the second week of March 2011.
