Shareholders are referred to the trading statement published on 10 November 2010. Imperial is pleased to provide further guidance regarding the range of the expected increase in headline earnings per share ("HEPS") and earnings per share ("EPS") for the half year ended 31 December 2010: TOTAL Half year ended 31 December 2009 Half year ended 31 December 2010 increase HEPS 503 cents 40% to 45% EPS 523 cents 35% to 40% Operating profit is expected to be between 45% and 50% higher than the R1 441m in the comparative period in 2009.
