VMK - Verimark Holdings Limited - Trading Update VERIMARK HOLDINGS LIMITED (Incorporated in the Republic of South Africa) (Registration Number: 1998/006957/06) JSE Code: VMK ISIN: ZAE000068011 ("Verimark" or "the Company") TRADING UPDATE In accordance with paragraph 3.4 of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited, a listed company is required to publish a trading statement, as soon as they are satisfied that a reasonable degree of certainty exists, that the financial results for the next period to be reported on are likely to vary by more than 20% from the previous corresponding period. As has been evident from the financial results reported for the last six months of the previous financial year, as well as the first six months of the current financial year, the Company is firmly back to profitability and this improved trend has continued to date. In addition, the Company made a loss for the first six months of the previous financial year, which materially depresses the base on which the growth for the current financial year is expressed. Accordingly, Verimark wishes to advise shareholders that the company expects an increase in the earnings per share ("EPS") and the headline earnings per share ("HEPS") for the year ended 28 February 2011, of more than 20% compared to the EPS and HEPS reported on in the prior comparative period. Once the Company has obtained a reasonable degree of certainty on the actual range of the increase in EPS and HEPS, a further trading statement will be released. The information in this trading statement has not been reviewed or reported on by Verimark`s auditors.
