In compliance with AIM rules, Eastern Platinum Limited ("Eastplats" or the      
"Company") reports on the following transaction by a Director in the Company`s  
common shares.                                                                  
On January 4, 2011, Mr. John Andrews, a non-executive director of the Company,  
notified the Company that he exercised 400,000 stock options to purchase common 
shares in the Company at Cdn$0.32 per share.  These options expire on December  
18, 2013.  As a result of this exercise, Mr. Andrews received 328,412 shares by 
way of Share Appreciation Rights on January 6, 2011. After this transaction, Mr.
Andrews holds 328,412 common shares of Eastplats.
