RESULTS OF THE GENERAL MEETING REGARDING THE ODD-LOT OFFER AND SPECIFIC OFFER TO
REPURCHASE SHARES                                                               
Vodacom  shareholders are advised that the necessary special resolution relating
to  the  specific authority to repurchase shares and the ordinary resolution  to
make and implement an odd-lot offer were approved by the requisite majorities at
a  general  meeting of shareholders held on Thursday 4 March 2010.  The  special
resolution  will be lodged for registration with the Companies and  Intellectual
Property  Registration  Office and a finalisation  announcement  confirming  the
registration thereof will be released on SENS on or about 11 March 2010.        
Further  announcements regarding the results of the odd-lot offer  and  specific
offer  to  repurchase shares will be made following the closing of  the  odd-lot
offer and specific offer to repurchase shares on 26 March 2010.
