MMG - MICROmega - Trading Statement MICROmega - Trading Statement MICROmega Holdings Limited (Registration number 1998/003821/06) (Incorporated in the Republic of South Africa) ISIN code:ZAE000034435 Share code: MMG ("MICROmega" or "the Group") TRADING STATEMENT In compliance with paragraph 3.4 of the Listing Requirements of the JSE Limited, a listed company is required to publish a trading statement as soon as it becomes aware that the financial results for the next period to be reported on will differ by at least 20% from those of the previous reported period. MICROmega wishes to advise shareholders that earnings per share for the year ended 31 December 2008 are expected to be between 48% and 50% higher than the earnings per share of 41.45 cents for the year ended 31 December 2007. Headline earnings per share for the same period are expected to be between 3% and 4% lower than the headline earnings per share of 41.91 cents for the year ended 31 December 2007. The timing of this trading statement has been directly influenced by the finalization of the accounting treatment of certain items of the discontinued operations within Kolbenco (Proprietary) Limited, which were finalized this week. The financial information on which this trading statement is based has not been reviewed or reported on by the group`s auditors.
