RESIGNATION AND APPOINTMENT TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS                           
In compliance with Section 3.59 of the Listing Requirements, the Board of       
Directors of ArcelorMittal South Africa hereby notifies its shareholders of the 
following changes to the Board of Directors                                     
RESIGNATION OF NON EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR                                           
Mr Michel Alphonse Leon Wurth has submitted his resignation as Non-Executive    
Director of ArcelorMittal South Africa Limited, with effect from 30 November    
2008.                                                                           
The Board has accepted Mr Wurth`s resignation with regret and would like to     
thank him for his contribution and wish him well in the future.                 
APPOINTMENT OF NON EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR                                           
Mr Arnaud Marie Herve Olivier Poupart-Lafarge, Executive Vice President (Africa 
- CIS) of the Arcelor Mittal Group, presently an alternate director, has been   
appointed to fill the vacancy on the Board of ArcelorMittal South Africa Limited
with effect from 30 November 2008.
