FTSE/JSE Africa Index Series - Reinet Investments (South Africa): Changes in FTSE/JSE Africa Index Series Re-issue: Reinet Investments (South Africa): Changes in FTSE/JSE Africa Index Series 21 October 2008 This Index Change Advice replaces the previous Reinet Investment ICA (effective 23 October 2008) in its entirety. The only amendment to the previous ICA is the company that will be deleted from J213, which is now Aspen Pharmacare Holdings (previously Pretoria Portland Cement). Following the unbundling of Reinet Investments (South Africa, constituent) by Compagnie Financiere Richemont (South Africa, constituent) and applying the FTSE/JSE indices ground rule 6.2.4, FTSE and the JSE announces the following changes: INDEX CHANGE EFFECTIVE FROM START OF TRADING FTSE/JSE Africa Top 40 (J200) Reinet Investments (South Africa, CH0045159214, B3DXNC9) will remain in the index with a shares in issue figure of 5,220,000,000 and an investability weighting of 100%.
Netcare (South Africa, ZAE000011953, 6636421) will be deleted from the index. 23 October 2008 FTSE/JSE Africa Mid Cap (J201) Netcare will be added to the index with a shares in issue figure of
1,856,773,387 and an investability weighting of 75%. Simmer and Jack Mines (South Africa, ZAE000006722, 6809007) will be deleted from the index. 23 October 2008
FTSE/JSE Africa Small Cap (J202) Simmer and Jack Mines will be added to the index with a shares in issue figure of 1,062,031,086
and an investability weighting of 75%. 23 October 2008 FTSE/JSE Africa All Share (J203) Reinet Investments will remain in the index. 23 October 2008
FTSE/JSE Africa Industrial 25 (J211) Reinet Investments will remain in the index. 23 October 2008 FTSE/JSE Africa Financial & Industrial 30 (J213) Reinet Investments will remain in the index.
Aspen Pharmacare Holdings (South Africa, ZAE000066692) will be deleted from the index 23 October 2008 FTSE/JSE Africa Financial & Industrial (J250) Reinet Investments will remain in the index. 23 October 2008
FTSE/JSE Africa Capped Top 40 (J300) Reinet Investments will remain in the index. Netcare will be deleted from the index. 23 October 2008 FTSE/JSE Africa Capped All Share (J303) Reinet Investments will remain in the index. 23 October 2008 FTSE/JSE Africa Shareholder Reinet Investments will remain in the index. Weighted Top 40 (J400) Netcare will be deleted from the index. 23 October 2008 FTSE/JSE Africa Shareholder Reinet Investments will remain in the index. 23 October 2008 Weighted All Share (J403) FTSE/JSE Africa Style (J330 and J331) Reinet Investments will remain in the index. 23 October 2008
