In line with the company`s succession plan David Haworth and Larry Riddle have been appointed as executive directors with effect from 1 April 2009. Mr Haworth (59) holds a B.Sc (Hons) degree and has extensive operational and commercial experience throughout Africa and internationally. He joined the group in 1999 to head up Illovo`s operations in Tanzania before being appointed as Managing Director, Illovo (Malawi) in 2006. Mr Riddle (49) is a chartered accountant who joined the group in 1986 and has subsequently held various general management positions, currently heading up the South African operations.
