With effect from 1 September 2008, Mr Kenneth Delroy Jarvis has been appointed to the board of directors as an independent non-executive director. Mr Kenneth (Ken) Jarvis has held various positions in the ICT industry over the last 23 years, most notably with Nedacom, Momentum Life, Nedcor Bank, Amplats, Multichoice and SARS. Ken started his working career in the mid-70`s and also spent a decade with IBM. He acted as CIO for SARS from 2002 to 2006. His experience includes significant project rollouts, consolidation exercises and transformation initiatives. His unique documentation of SARS`s IT strategy was rated number one in worldwide Thought Leadership by Gartner and he has presented to over 5 000 people in Cannes on the success of SARS`s `Single View of the Client` project. Ken was the winner of the 2004 ICT Leadership award and was voted the Public Sector CIO of 2004. Ken now heads up his own company, JIKA Africa.
