Trading update                                                                  
In terms of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited, a listed company is   
required to publish a trading statement as soon as it becomes aware that the    
financial results for the next period to be reported on will differ by at least 
20% from those of the previous corresponding period.                            
Accordingly, Rolfes hereby advises that, for the year ended 30 June 2008, the   
Company expects basic earnings per share and headline earnings per share to be  
between 35% to 45% above the comparative figures for the prior year ended 30    
June 2007.                                                                      
The information in this trading update has not been reviewed or reported on by  
the Company`s auditors.                                                         
It is anticipated that the financial results for the year ended 30 June 2008    
will be published on or about 10 September 2008.
