Further to the statement released by the Company on SENS on Friday, 25 April    
2008, shareholders are advised that MTN is engaged in discussions with Bharti   
Airtel Limited which, if successfully concluded, may have a material effect on  
the price of the Company`s securities. The discussions are exploratory in nature
and may or may not lead to any transaction. Accordingly, shareholders are       
advised to exercise caution when dealing in the Company`s securities until a    
further announcement is made.
