GROUP FIVE NEW EXCO APPOINTMENT                                                 
Group Five is pleased to announce the appointment of Willie Zeelie, Managing    
Director of Group Five Energy, to the group`s executive committee (exco).       
Willie joined Group Five in 2003 with more than 20 years experience in the power
industry at companies such as Alstom, Rolls Royce, ABB and Eskom. He was        
instrumental in establishing Group Five`s power systems and energy businesses,  
which incorporates power, oil and gas, industrial services and electrical and   
instrumentation contracts. Willie also led the team that won and executed the   
Ibom power contract in Nigeria, the group`s first turnkey power project.        
Group Five CEO, Mike Upton, welcomed Zeelie to the team and said that his       
appointment was part of the group`s commitment to continue strengthening its    
senior team and its commitment to the energy and power markets.
