VOLUNTARY DISCLOSURE OF DEALING IN SECURITIES BY BEE PARTNER                    
Shareholders are referred to the Circular to Shareholders, dated 15 November    
2005, relating to the Black Economic Empowerment ("BEE") transaction, which     
requires the BEE parties to utilise all distributions to acquire additional     
ordinary shares in Discovery in the market. Shareholders are accordingly advised
of the following purchases of Discovery ordinary shares by one of Discovery"s   
BEE                                                                             
partners, WDB Discovery Investments (Pty) Limited ("WDB Investments"):          
31 March 2008:                                                                  
-    50,000 @ R24.08017 per share. Value of transaction: R1 204 008.28          
1 April 2008:                                                                   
-    20,000 @ R23.9875 per share. Value of transaction: R479 750.00             
2 April 2008:                                                                   
-    35,700 shares @ R25.27485 per share. Value of transaction: R902 312.02     
3 April 2008:                                                                   
-    30,000 shares @ R25.10333 per share. Value of transaction: R753 100.00
