RESIGNATION AND APPOINTMENTS TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS                          
In compliance with Section 3.59 of the Listing Requirements, the Board of       
Directors of ArcelorMittal South Africa hereby notifies its shareholders that,  
Mr Enrico Mario Reato has submitted his resignation as Chief Executive Officer  
and Director of ArcelorMittal South Africa Limited, with effect from 29 February
2008, to take up a position within the ArcelorMittal Group.                     
The Board of Directors would like to thank Mr Reato for his contribution and    
wish him well in the future.                                                    
Appointment of Chief Executive Officer and President                            
Ms Nonkululeko Nyembezi-Heita has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer and 
Mr Luc Bonte has been appointed as President of ArcelorMittal South Africa.     
Both appointments are onto the Board and effective from 1 March 2008.
