CHANGE TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS                                                
In compliance with sections 3.59 to 3.62 of the Listings Requirements of the JSE
Limited, shareholders are advised that Mr Thomas (Tom) Pritchard has been       
appointed to the position of Group Financial Director of Famous Brands with     
effect from 1 February 2008. In his capacity as Group Financial Director Tom,   
has been appointed to the Board of Famous Brands and will also fulfil the role  
of Company Secretary.                                                           
Tom holds B.Com (Hons) and CA qualifications and has extensive financial, IT,   
corporate and board experience spanning his 25 year career. He has previously   
been employed by a number of high profile blue chip organisations including     
Tiger Brands and Astral Foods. For the past seven years, Tom has been Financial 
Director of Astral Foods. It is considered that Tom`s experience will add       
immense value to the company.
