OCE/OCG - Oceana - Specific repurchase - Results of the general meeting and fulfilment of conditions precedent OCEANA GROUP LIMITED (Incorporated in the Republic of South Africa) (Registration number: 1939/001730/06) JSE share code: OCE NSX share code: OCG ISIN: ZAE000025284 ("Oceana") SPECIFIC REPURCHASE - RESULTS OF THE GENERAL MEETING AND FULFILMENT OF CONDITIONS PRECEDENT 1 INTRODUCTION Oceana shareholders ("shareholders") are referred to: - the announcement dated 9 November 2007 in which shareholders were advised of the specific repurchase of 2,615,093 Oceana shares from Khula Enterprise Finance Limited; and - the circular dated 19 November 2007 which has been sent to shareholders. 2 RESULTS OF THE GENERAL MEETING AND REGISTRATION OF THE SPECIAL RESOLUTION Shareholders are advised that: - the specific repurchase has been approved by the requisite majority of votes at the general meeting held today, being Wednesday, 19 December 2007; and - the special resolution has been registered by the Registrar of Companies today, being Wednesday, 19 December 2007. All conditions to which the specific repurchase is subject have therefore been fulfilled. The specific repurchase will be implemented on Friday, 21 December 2007.
