following information relating to a block trade is disclosed:                   
Further to the announcement of 4 December 2007, River Group is authorized to    
make the following announcement:                                                
A trust of which Ian Cockerill and his family are the beneficiaries acquired 300
000 ordinary shares at R2.20 per share in an off market transaction.  The       
acquisition was part of the disposals and acquisition of shares by Petmin`s BEE 
shareholders and Directors as recorded in the announcement of 4 December 2007.  
Bradley Doig acquired 50 000 shares, direct and benificially at a share price of
R4.00 per share on 11 December 2007.
