Directors Dealings in Securities                                                
In compliance with the requirements of paragraphs 3.63 to 3.74 of the JSE       
Listing requirements, the following should be noted:                            
As a consequence of the change in control resulting from GUS Holdings BV`s      
disposal of shares in Lewis on 26 May 2005, shares and options vested in terms  
of the rules of the company share schemes.  The Lewis executives accepted a     
condition imposed by the company that they shall not dispose of any shares      
awarded nor call for delivery of the option shares prior to 1 October 2007.     
(refer SENS dated 29 June 2005).                                                
The condition imposed by the company has now expired.  It has therefore become  
necessary for the Lewis executive to:                                           
    a)   Take delivery and settle the exercise price payable for the option     
         shares, and                                                            
b)   To settle their tax liability on the ordinary shares vested on 26      
         May 2005 and the option shares delivered.                              
These liabilities are payable by the end of November 2007.                      
The following executive purchased his option shares and settled his tax         
liability on 30 November 2007.
