TMT - Trematon - Trading Statement Trematon Capital Investments Limited (Incorporated in the Republic of South Africa) Registration number 1997/008691/06 Share code: TMT ISIN: ZAE000013991 ("Trematon" or "the Company") TRADING STATEMENT Shareholders are advised that Trematon`s earnings and headline earnings per share for the year ended 31 August 2007 will be 4.6 cents per share and 1.5 cents per share, compared to 9 cents per share and 4.6 cents per share for the previous comparable period, being the year ended 31 August 2006 ("the previous comparable period"). Net asset value of the company increased from 60 cents per share for the previous comparable period to 84 cents per share. The earnings and headline earnings of the company have decreased as a result of a shift away from short term trading to long term investing activities. The net asset value of the company increased primarily as a result of an increase in the market value of Trematon`s unlisted assets. The company`s results for the year ended 31 August 2007, on which this trading statement is based, have not yet been reviewed and/or reported on by the company`s auditors. The year end results will be announced on SENS on or about 12 November 2007.
