South Africa, 31 October 2007: Naspers Limited (JSE: NPN, LSE: NPSN) announced
today that, following a review of its strategic investment priorities and
given its focus on emerging markets, it has initiated a formal process to
explore a possible sale of its Greek and Cypriot pay-tv operator, NetMed NV.
NetMed is the leading pay-television operator in Greece where it operates the
digital satellite platform, Nova, which has over 340 000 subscribers.
Citigroup has been appointed as financial adviser to the process, in which
keen interest has been expressed from several potential investors.
