With regard to the audited results for the year ended 30 June 2007, shareholders
are advised that the annual financial statements have been distributed to       
shareholders on 28 September 2007 and contain no modifications to the audited   
results which were published on SENS on 23 August 2007.                         
Notice is hereby given that the annual general meeting of shareholders of       
Woolworths Holdings will be held at 09h00 in the Auditorium, 1st Floor,         
Woolworths House, 93 Longmarket Street, Cape Town, 8001 on 22 November 2007 to  
transact the business as stated in the annual general meeting notice forming    
part of the annual report.
