FIRE AT ISLAND VIEW STORAGE DURBAN                                              
Island View Storage, ("IVS") a division of Bidvest reports that a fire          
broke out at one of its Durban chemical storage facilities at                   
approximately 7.00 pm last night, 18 September 2007.  One person is             
believed to be missing.                                                         
Approximately 3% of its Durban storage capacity has been damaged, the           
replacement of which is comprehensively insured.  The financial losses          
are not expected to be significant.                                             
Congratulations are due to the Fire Department of Durban and other              
emergency response teams, the Transnet National Ports Authority as well         
as IVS employees, all of whom acted courageously in containing the              
potential losses.  The cause of the fire is being investigated.  The            
environmental after effects of the fire are currently urgently being            
assessed.
