CSB - Cashbuild Limited - Trading update CASHBUILD LIMITED (Registration number: 1986/001503/06) (Incorporated in the Republic of South Africa) JSE share code: CSB & ISIN: ZAE000028320 ("Cashbuild" or "the company") TRADING UPDATE In terms of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, companies are required to publish a trading statement as soon as they are reasonably certain that the financial results for the current reporting year will be more than 20% different than that of the prior corresponding year. In light of the above, Cashbuild expects to announce that headline earnings per share and earnings per share for the year ended 30 June 2007 are expected to be 40% to 46% higher than those of the prior year. In the interest of good disclosure principles, the above results are based on 53 weeks trading as compared to 52 weeks of the prior year. If the effect of the 53rd week is excluded from the results, headline earnings per share and earnings per share would expected to be between 30% and 36% higher than that of the prior year. The above information has not been reviewed or reported on by the company`s auditors and the company`s results for the year ended 30 June 2007 are expected to be published on or about 18 September 2007.
