NTC - Netcare - Resignation and Appointment of Auditors NETWORK HEALTHCARE HOLDINGS LIMITED (Registration number 1996/008242/06) Code: NTC ISIN number: ZAE000011953 ("Netcare" or "the Group") Resignation and Appointment of Auditors In terms of paragraph 3.75 of the Listing Requirements of the JSE Limited, shareholders are advised of the following changes to the Company`s auditors. Netcare`s present joint auditors are Grant Thornton and PKF (Jhb) Inc. The predecessor firm of PKF (Jhb) Inc was the sole auditor of Netcare until the financial year ended 30 September 1999. The predecessor firm of Grant Thornton was appointed as joint auditor of Netcare with effect from the financial year ended 30 September 2000. In light of the general trend of companies moving away from joint auditor appointments, the Board of Netcare has resolved to implement a sole auditor appointment for the Company. Accordingly, PKF (Jhb) Inc. has resigned as joint auditor with effect from the date of release of the 2006 Annual Report. Netcare would like to thank PKF (Jhb) Inc and their predecessor firms for their support and contribution to the Netcare Group since its listing in December 1996. Further to the above, Grant Thornton will be appointed as auditors of the Company with effect from the date of release of the 2006 Annual Report.
