STERLING DIVIDEND RATE                                                          
The Board of Lonmin Plc has previously announced an interim dividend of 55      
cents per share payable on 3 August 2007 in sterling to UK shareholders         
calculated at the US dollar to sterling exchange rate on 13 July 2007 and in    
dollars to all overseas shareholders other than those on the South African      
branch register.                                                                
The US dollar to sterling exchange rate on 13 July 2007 is $2.03079/GBP1 and    
accordingly the sterling dividend payable is 27.08 pence per share.
