GEN - Mondi Group (South Africa): Changes in FTSE/JSE Africa Index Series Mondi Group (South Africa): Changes in FTSE/JSE Africa Index Series 3 July 2007 Further to the FTSE/JSE notice issued on 27 June 2007 in relation to the demerger of Mondi Group from Anglo American & in accordance with the demerger rule, FTSE/JSE announces the following changes: INDEX CHANGE EFFECTIVE FROM START OF
TRADING FTSE/JSE Africa Top 40 Mondi Ltd (South Africa, 4 July 2007 (J200) ZAE000097051, B1YCDJ8) will remain in the index with an
unchanged shares in issue figure of 151,741,310 and an unchanged investability weighting of 100%.
Mondi Plc (South Africa, GB00B1CRLC47, B1YCDP4) will be deleted from the index.
Pick N Pay Stores (South Africa, ZAE000005443, 6688068) will be deleted from the index.
(*) Please see notes. FTSE/JSE Africa Mid Cap Pick N Pay Stores will be added 4 July 2007 (J201) to the index with a shares in issue figure of 485,948,357 and
an investability weighting of 50%. Sycom Property Fund (South
Africa, ZAE000019303, 6869045) will be deleted from the index. FTSE/JSE Africa Small Sycom Property Fund will be added 4 July 2007 Cap (J202) to the index with a shares in issue figure of 183,356,239 and an investability weighting of 100%. FTSE/JSE Africa All Mondi Ltd will be treated as 4 July 2007 Share (J203) above. Mondi Plc will be deleted from the index.
Pick N Pay will remain in the index with an unchanged shares in issue figure of 485,948,357 and
an unchanged investability weighting of 50%. Sycom Property Fund will remain
in the index with an unchanged shares in issue figure of 183,356,239 and an unchanged investability weighting of 100%.
