Investment in Wallbridge Mining Company Limited                                 
Further to the announcement dated 7 June 2007, Lonmin is pleased to announce    
that it has completed the purchase, for investment purposes, of 10.8 million    
units in Wallbridge Mining Company Limited ("Wallbridge") at a price of C$0.60  
per unit for a total consideration of C$6.5 million (US$6.1 million).  This     
represents approximately 18% of the issued capital of Wallbridge on a fully     
diluted basis calculated immediately after the completion of this transaction   
(assuming the exercise of all warrants).  Each unit consists of one common share
in the capital of Wallbridge ("Common Share") and one half common share purchase
warrant ("Warrant").  Each full Warrant entitles Lonmin to purchase one Common  
Share at an exercise price of C$1.00 for a period of three years from the date  
of issuance.
