LEVERAGED BONUS SCHEME                                                          
In terms of paragraph 3.63 - 3.65 of the Listings Requirements of JSE Limited   
("JSE Listings Requirements"), the following transactions, in respect of which  
prior written approval pursuant to paragraph 3.66 of the JSE Listing            
Requirements has been obtained, are hereby disclosed-                           
On 25 February 2005, Netcare announced the implementation of a Leveraged Bonus  
Scheme which concludes with the automatic cash settlement on 31 May 2007,       
resulting in the automatic settlement of the monetary equivalent of the below   
mentioned options pertaining to the undermentioned Directors and Secretary of   
the Company;                                                                    
Nature of Transaction - Automatic cash settlement of European style call options
- strike price 644 cents per share and cash settlement at VWAP price of 1581
