Results of Annual General Meeting 29 May 2007                                   
The chairman tabled the resolutions set out in the Notice of the Annual General 
Meeting dated 6 March 2007, with the exception of ordinary resolution 4.6       
(amending the Standard Bank Equity Growth Scheme), which was amended at the     
meeting by the deletion of the words "or Past Employee".                        
All resolutions proposed were passed by the requisite majorities of             
shareholders.
