Sekunjalo board thanks Dr Gilingwe Mayende for his tenure as director           
JSE-listed Sekunjalo Investments Limited today announced that Dr Gilingwe       
Mayende, a non-executive director, had tendered his resignation from the        
board.                                                                          
Dr Mayende recently joined a large audit and consulting firm and in terms       
of the Codes of Conduct, partners and managers are prohibited from holding      
directorships in any public company.                                            
Sekunjalo Chairman and CEO Dr Iqbal Surve said Dr Gilingwe had been a           
dedicated and involved member of the board, and a friend of the company for     
many years.                                                                     
"We will miss Dr Mayende at a board level and wish to thank him for his         
committed service to Sekunjalo."  Dr Surve said.
