In compliance with paragraph 3.22 of the Listings Requirements of the JSE       
Limited we hereby advise that the Company`s annual financial statements for the 
year ended 30 December 2006, contained within the annual report 2006, were      
issued on 2 May 2007. An abridged report will not be published as the           
information contained in the preliminary report dated 14 February 2007 is       
unchanged.                                                                      
Notice is hereby given that the annual general meeting of the members of Kumba  
Iron Ore Limited in respect of the year ended 30 December 2006 will be held at  
the Johannesburg Country Club, 1 Napier Road, Auckland Park, Johannesburg on    
Thursday 24 May 2007 at 12h00.
