FULFILLMENT OF SUSPENSIVE CONDITIONS Further to the announcement dated 24 April 2007, relating to the voluntary tender offer to repurchase up to a maximum of 125 million Sanlam ordinary shares, Sanlam shareholders are advised that the special resolution authorising the specific repurchase has been registered with the Registrar of Companies, resulting in the last suspensive condition being fulfilled.
