TRADING UPDATE                                                                  
The directors are pleased to announce that as a result of favourable trading    
conditions the results for the first quarter to March 2007 which are unaudited  
and have not been reviewed by the external auditors reflect an after tax profit 
of R81 million (March 2006 R27 million) which translates into earnings per share
of 86 cents and headline earnings of 85 cents per share.  This announcement     
should not be seen as a precedent for quarterly trading statements.
