FTSE/JSE Africa Index Series - Index Change Advice - Growthpoint Acquisition of Paramount Growthpoint Properties (South Africa): Acquisition of Paramount Property Fund (South Africa) FTSE/JSE Africa Index Series 23 February 2007 Following the unconditional acquisition of Paramount Properties (South Africa) by Growthpoint Properties (South Africa) and notification from the Stock Exchange, FTSE and the JSE announces the following changes: INDEX CHANGE EFFECTIVE FROM START OF TRADING FTSE/JSE Africa Mid Growthpoint Properties (South 2 March 2007 Cap (J201) Africa, ZAE000037669, 6392615) will remain in the index with an increased shares in issue of 1,067,038,359 and an unchanged
investability weighting of 100%. FTSE/JSE Africa Paramount Property Fund (South 2 March 2007 Small Cap (J202) Africa, ZAE000028577, 6328546) will be deleted from the index.
FTSE/JSE Africa All Growthpoint Properties will be 2 March 2007 Share (J203) treated as above. Paramount Property Fund will be
deleted from the index. FTSE/JSE Africa Growthpoint Properties will be 2 March 2007 Financial 15 (J212) treated as above. FTSE/JSE Africa Growthpoint Properties will be 2 March 2007 Financial & treated as above. Industrial (J250) Paramount Property Fund will be deleted from the index.
FTSE/JSE Africa SA Growthpoint Properties will be 2 March 2007 Listed Property treated as above. (J253) Paramount Property Fund will be
deleted from the index. Diversified Property Fund (South Africa, ZAE000072369, B0LWD72)
will be added to the index with a shares in issue total of 139,611,389 and an unchanged investability weighting of 75%.
FTSE/JSE Africa Growthpoint Properties will be 2 March 2007 Capped Property treated as above. (J254) Paramount Property Fund will be
deleted from the index. Diversified Property Fund will be added as above.
FTSE/JSE Africa Growthpoint Properties will be 2 March 2007 Property Loan Stocks treated as above. (J256) Paramount Property Fund will be
deleted from the index. FTSE/JSE Africa Growthpoint Properties will be 2 March 2007 Capped All Share treated as above. (J303) Paramount Property Fund will be deleted from the index. FTSE/JSE Africa Growthpoint Properties will be 2 March 2007 Shareholder Weighted treated as above. All Share (J403) Paramount Property Fund will be deleted from the index. FTSE/JSE Africa Growthpoint Properties will be 2 March 2007 Style (J330 and treated as above. J331) Paramount Property Fund will be deleted from the index.
