Bidvest announces that it expects both headline earnings per share and basic    
earnings per share for the six months ended December 31 2006 to be between 20%  
to 25% higher than the prior comparative period.                                
This trading statement has not been reviewed or reported on by Bidvest`s        
external auditors.  The release of the announcement of the unaudited results for
the six months ended December 31 2006 is expected to be published on or about   
March 05 2007
