    Prudential Health Limited ("PruHealth") is Discovery`s joint venture in the 
    United Kingdom, owned equally by Discovery and Prudential plc.              
Shareholders are referred to the announcement by Prudential plc earlier     
    today of its New Business for the calendar year ended 31 December 2006,     
    which contains the following information in respect of PruHealth:           
    "PruHealth continues to develop well, with full-year Gross Written Premiums 
up 300 per cent at GBP36 million (GBP9 million in 2005). It now has around  
    100,000 individuals covered."
