In conformity with the Transparency Directive`s transitional provision 6 we     
would like to notify the market of the following:                               
Lonmin Plc`s capital consists of 154,425,716 ordinary shares of US$1 each with  
voting rights and 50,000 sterling deferred shares of GBP1 each with no voting   
rights.                                                                         
Therefore, the total number of voting rights in Lonmin Plc is 154,425,716.      
The above figure (154,425,716) may be used by shareholders as the denominator   
for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify
their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Lonmin Plc under the FSA`s 
Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
