RESULTS OF THE ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING AND CHANGE TO THE COMPANY SECRETARY       
Results of the Annual General Meeting                                           
Shareholders are advised that, at the annual general meeting of Cashbuild held  
at the registered office of the company today, all the resolutions were passed  
by the requisite majority of shareholders.                                      
The special resolution will be submitted for registration at the Registrar of   
Companies in due course.                                                        
Change to the Company Secretary                                                 
In accordance with Section 3.59 of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements,       
Cashbuild shareholders are informed that Mr Alan C. Smith has resigned as       
company secretary of Cashbuild and Corporate Governance Leaders (CC Registration
Number 2003/048208/23) has been appointed as the new company secretary of       
Cashbuild with immediate effect.
