In compliance with section 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of the JSE    
     Limited, the Board is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Mike Upton 
     and Mr Mandla Gantsho as executive and non-executive directors of Group    
     Five, respectively, with immediate effect.                                 
Mr Upton"s appointment follows the announcement made on 10 August 2006,    
     wherein it was mentioned that he had been appointed Chief Executive Officer
     designate following Mike Lomas" retirement on 31 March 2007. The           
     appointment of Mr Gantsho follows the finalisation of the black economic   
empowerment transaction by Group Five.
