Shareholders are advised that at the Annual General Meeting of Argent held 
     at 14:00 on Friday, 18 August 2006, all the ordinary and special           
     resolutions, as proposed in the notice to the Annual General Meeting, were 
     passed by the requisite majority of shareholders.                          
The special resolutions will be lodged for registration with the Registrar 
     of Companies in due course.
