In terms of the Company"s articles of association, Dr Conrad Strauss retired as 
a member of the board at the close of the Company"s annual general meeting.     
Dr Strauss has been a member of the board since 1984 after joining the group in 
1963. Dr Strauss was thanked by the chairman, Derek Cooper, for the invaluable  
contributions that he has made to the group.
