Retirement of Chairman                                                          
Adv Solly Tucker has retired as chairman and a director of Yorkcor for health   
reasons with immediate effect.  He has been associated with the Company since   
1960.                                                                           
Adv Tucker is succeeded by Dr MJC ("Tienie") van Vuuren as non-executive        
chairman.  Dr van Vuuren has been a director of Yorkcor since 2003 and has      
served the company over two periods, together totaling 15 years.                
Ivor Tucker, Lance Cooper, John Lehman and "Poenkie" de Villiers will continue  
to make up the executive in their capacities as group managing director, chief  
operating officer, financial director and business liaison director             
respectively.
