In terms of rule 7.1 of the Securities Regulation Code, Investec Bank Limited is
authorised to announce that subsequent to the announcement of the proposed      
acquisition by Growthpoint of all the issued Metboard linked units, apart from  
those already held by Growthpoint, on 27 February 2006, that on 27 February 2006
Growthpoint acquired 379 408 Metboard linked units at a price of 646.65 cents   
per Metboard linked unit.
