ACQUISITION OF BIMBO"S FRANCHISE AGREEMENTS                                     
Famous Brands is pleased to announce that all the conditions precedent to the   
acquisition of the Bimbo"s franchise agreements linked specifically to Engen    
Petroleum forecourt sites as published on 16 November 2005, have been fulfilled 
and the transaction is now unconditional.                                       
In terms of the agreement, Famous Brands has secured or provisionally secured   
the minimum 26 conversion agreements with the Bimbo"s/Engen franchisees. The    
conversion of these sites to Steers will commence with immediate effect and is  
expected to be completed by 30 June 2006.
