First Quarter Production Report
Lonmin today announces its production report for the first quarter to 31
December 2005.
Brad Mills, Chief Executive Officer said:
"Production for the first quarter of our 2006 financial year was in line with
our expectations at 196,045 ounces of Platinum and 363,737 ounces of total PGMs
and well ahead of the same period last year. We continue to be on track to meet
our full year target of around 1 million ounces of Platinum sales and around 1.9
million ounces of total PGM sales. Our planned number one furnace rebuild began
on 16 January and is proceeding well in line with our plans."
