SALIENT DATES FOR CAPITAL DISTRIBUTION                                          
At the annual general meeting held on Thursday, 10 November 2005, DAWN          
shareholders approved the resolution tabled at the meeting to approve the       
capital distribution of 13 cents per ordinary share to DAWN shareholders.       
The salient dates and times of the capital distribution will be as follows:     
2006                               

Last day to trade to participate in the      Friday, 6 January                  
capital distribution                                                            
Shares trade ex-distribution                 Monday, 9 January                  
Record date to be recorded in the register   Friday, 13 January                 
to participate in the capital distribution                                      
Distribution to shareholders in respect of   Monday, 16 January                 
the capital distribution                                                        
In the case of dematerialised DAWN                                              
shareholders, payment will be made by        Monday, 16 January                 
crediting their accounts at the CSDP or                                         
broker, as the case may be, as agreed to                                        
between the shareholder and the CSDP.                                           
In the case of certificated DAWN             Monday, 16 January                 
shareholders, payment will be made by cheque                                    
or deposited directly into the shareholder"s                                    
bank account, whichever a shareholder may                                       
instruct, at the risk of the shareholder                                        
concerned.                                                                      
Notes:                                                                          
The above dates and times are subject to change. Any changes will be            
published in the press and on SENS.                                             
Shares may not be dematerialised or rematerialised between Monday, 9            
January 2006 and Friday, 13 January 2006, both days inclusive.
