Shareholders are advised that a reasonable degree of certainty exists that      
Astral Foods" earnings per share will reflect an increase of 51% and headline   
earnings per share will reflect an increase of 45% for the year ending 30       
September 2005 as against the previous year.  This financial information has not
been reported on by Astral Foods" auditors.                                     
It is expected that the results for the twelve months to 30 September 2005 will 
be published on 18 November 2005.
