RESULTS OF THE ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING                                           
Java Capital is authorised to announce the results of the annual general meeting
of shareholders of Famous Brands convened on Wednesday, 29 June 2005 in terms of
the notice of the annual general meeting contained in the Famous Brands annual  
report issued on 7 June 2005.                                                   
All of the resolutions were passed by the requisite majority of Famous Brands   
shareholders.
