Renewal of Cautionary Announcement                                              
Further to the cautionary announcement dated 21 April 2005, shareholders are    
advised that negotiations with regard to Netcare"s proposed Broad-Based Black   
Economic Empowerment transaction "Health Partners for Life" are still in        
progress which, if successfully concluded, may have an effect on the price at   
which Netcare shares trade on the JSE Securities Exchange South Africa.         
It is currently envisaged that the impact on shareholders in terms of earnings  
and net asset value per share is unlikely to be materially different from       
transactions of a similar nature currently being implemented in South Africa.   
Accordingly, shareholders are advised to exercise caution when trading in       
Netcare"s shares until a further announcement is made.
